The
History or Alder Creek
In
the quest for a new beginning,
and nearing the end of their migration West,
George Donner and his family reached
the banks of Alder Creek in the Sierra Nevada mountains in
the Winter of 1846.
Fate wouldn't allow the Donners to ever leave Alder Creek, but their courage
and determination were testimony to the American spirit and strength of
family.
The banks of Alder Creek inspired this gallery and Alder Creek Creative.
